Who, who am I when all I am is gone?
A stranger, looking deep inside, trying to fix, trying to find, hoping to hide.

Who, who is she, screaming on the floor
the coldest eyes that she could find, ugliest voice she can abhor
and powerless to even say no more
stripped off and kneeled no mercy for herself
trying to run trough swamps in search of hope
foolish enough to think it matters not what they
…escape is just a rope away

Why, why she holds on to what will not stay
doesn’t she know that strength is weakness and the strong will die
arrogance brings my fist wrath in her way
for lies are truth and truth has always been a lie
and i’ve broke her before, i’ve broken her before
in the end, is caged innocence innocence at all

How, how she fights for breath tonight
don’t worry, i will take you in my arms
Wash the red, share your tears and comb your hair
invent new songs to bring life to your nerves
and hold your heart close to mine trough all fears
until the day you can feel sheets again

and maybe than…
you’ll look at me and tell me who I am.
